Clarity by Zedd

For days I've been trying to find the title of the tune that keeps on looping into my mind... all i remembered was "la la la la blah clarity..." It haunted me for days! Then, I heard it again in 8tracks earlier and I finally got the title of the song! It's Clarity by Zedd... and now I can't seem to stop playing the song...
I like that it has a lively beat and emo lyrics as the same time... fits me perfectly!

[Verse 1: Foxes]
Hot dive into frozen waves where the past comes back to life
Fight fear for the selfish pain, it was worth it every time
Hold still right before we crash 'cause we both know how this ends
A clock ticks 'til it breaks your glass and I drown in you again

[Hook: Foxes]
'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need
Chasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?

[Bridge: Foxes]
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?

[Verse 2: Foxes]
Walk on through a red parade and refuse to make amends
It cuts deep through our ground and makes us forget all common sense
Don't speak as I try to leave 'cause we both know what we'll choose
If you pull then I'll push too deep and I'll fall right back to you

[Hook]

[Interlude: Foxes]
Why are you my clarity?
Why are you my remedy?
Why are you my clarity?
Why are you my remedy?

[Bridge]

Hooray for a new Pope!

I woke up today with a new pope... that was fast! I remember last 2005, it took more than 24 hours to finally declare Joseph Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) as the pope. I didn't really know how a conclave works so I did a little research...
This link provides a detailed explanation of the conclave process:

I wonder if the new pope will also have a Twitter account so people can follow him :P

Today I decide to write again

Yes, today I've decided to express myself again through this blog. It's been a long time since I've written something here. Lots of things happening in my life now and honestly, i'm a bit pressured of the new responsibilities with work.. everything is just flashing so fast... but so far so good... still able to cope with the stress the new role brings...
Valentine's Day... it's just a regular day for me... work, play, then watched the 2012 Grammy's, that's about it. Adele was awesome! won 6 out of 6 awards in which she is nominated. The performances were great as usual.
Well, what was more special was yesterday, Valentines eve, (13-Feb). Went out to celebrate the gift of friendship with some close friends here in Singapore. Dinner & drinks at IndoChine restaurant near the Asian Civilisation Museum. Good times with friends are always nice.

Hope to write at least thrice a week from now on :)

2011: The Best Yet

The year 2011 was a celebration of life, friendship, smiles, laughters, and true relationships. This year indeed brought me an exhilarating, adrenaline rushed, roller coaster ride journey. This was the year of exploration, letting loose, and having extreme, adventurous fun. Every year's becoming better and better and 2011 is the best so far in my 24 years of existence... all because of the people I've shared memories with! I am really very grateful to God for giving me a fantastic year! Can I just say, God, Ikaw Na (You Already)! Thank you & I Love You!

This album shows the highlights of my year. Thank you for everyone who made this a truly blessed year.

2012 will be a year of still pushing myself to the limits. Investing in relationships of all forms - friendship, family ties, acquaintance blooming into friends or something more, business partnership, client good relationship. The goal is to always do my best in everything that I do and to never settle with "ok/good" but always run an extra mile to push for the best results. Additionally, this will be the year of saving & being more responsible :) I think I was still childish with some of my actions and decisions last 2011.

2012 will indeed be a very exciting year for me! I've set my goals. Some are really tough but I like it that way :) I'm ready for all the challenges that will come my way. I declare that this will be a bigger, better, and more productive year for me :) Let's get it on!

Communicate

When the people saw how long it was taking Moses to come back down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron. "Come on", they said, "make us some gods who can lead us. We don't know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt".
Exodus 32:!
You embody your organization's vision. When the staff sees you, they see the vision. When you're away, they begin to lose sight of where they are headed. This can happen very quickly.
Make it a practice to keep your staff updated from wherever you are. If you are attending a conference or convention, send an email every evening to the entire staff, giving them a glimpse of what you are learning.
Don't manage from the road. You have subordinates at the office who can do that. Instead, learn as much as you can at the conference or convention. When you return, you can use the opportunity to tell your staff how the things you learned fit with your mission statement and share your thoughts about how new ideas might be applied.
**Be out of sight, but not out of mind.

Do Something

In the beginning God created. Genesis 1:1

The first sentence of the Bible introduces us to one of God's notable characteristics. In the beginning, God did something.
He didn't think, study, see, feel, or plan. He created.
He didn't wait for the heavens and the earth to fall into place. He didn't assume they would feel empowered to create themselves. He didn't delegate the task to his assistant. The text is very clear - God created.
God took action and did things on his timeline in the way he wanted them done.
Sometimes you and I need to step up to the plate and swing the bat. In our desire to strike a balance, we often fail to act in a timely manner. We wait for one more opinion or one last focus group when we know that we should move, now!
Perhaps you're facing something today that just needs to be tackled. Look into Genesis 1:1 for encouragement.

**When the time was right, God stepped through the front door of time and did something

Play Paintball

December 2010 at Global Gutz, Pasay City with Dimension Data CRC, Kevin, John and Dino

#9 in my Bucket List.
After watching some segments in TV featuring this game, instantly I got intrigued with playing it. A game of teamwork and strategy, this is surely a fun bonding activity for families, friends and office mates alike.
Lessons learned: Don't just stay in one place. Move. Move. Move. But make sure to check your opponents and take cover. Never play with your eye glasses on as it will moist and you will become blinded while playing the game. Also, once you're hit, raise your hand/s at once. This will signify that you are already out of the game and that others should not try to fire at you anymore.

Visit Angkor Wat in Cambodia

#8 in my Bucket List.
I was able to visit Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia last March 2010. It's considered one of the seven wonders of ancient world before. Now, the list have changed already. Met up with my college friends in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and from there we took a bus going to Cambodia. We embarked a 13 hours roadtrip (6 hours from Vietnam to Phnom Penh then another 7 hours going to Siem Reap). We just stayed there for 1 day only but seeing the ancient temples was really worth the travel.
